The Carbonite Hi-Performance Powerpak Kit features friction plates crafted from 3M™ carbon-based friction material, ensuring exceptional heat resistance and higher friction coefficients compared to conventional materials. The steel drive plates undergo Kolene® Melonite® treatment, enhancing their performance, promoting smoother engagement, extending their lifespan, and maintaining cooler operating temperatures. By eliminating the OEM copper rivet clutch spring plate (part #37977-90), this kit enhances overall reliability.
