Its 6mm thick construction effectively shields the frame, lower engine, and crankcases from rocks, roots, and other hazards encountered on the track or trail. Unlike aluminum skid plates, HDPE absorbs impacts, preventing deformation and eliminating unwanted vibrations. In addition, HDPE is 40% lighter than aluminum, ensuring minimal impact on your bike's handling and performance.
