Description
Cometic Clutch Cover Gaskets are constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. The aluminum core provides exceptional strength, ensuring a tight and lasting seal, even in demanding engine conditions. This design eliminates weeping and crawling, common issues with gaskets in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. Installation is simplified, as no sealants are required, saving you valuable service time. The AFM material will not stick to the engine case, making future replacements quick and easy, eliminating the need for scraping. With a high temperature resistance of over 250°F (121°C), the AFM material maintains 85% recovery and strong torque retention, preventing leaks and ensuring a reliable seal over time. No gasket sealants or silicone bead is required, and re-torque is also unnecessary.
