Description
This clutch cover gasket is crafted from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. The aluminum core provides exceptional strength, preventing weeping or crawling, especially in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. Installation is simplified as no sealants are required, saving service time by preventing the gasket from sticking to the engine case, eliminating scraping. AFM offers high-temperature resistance exceeding 250°F (121°C) and boasts an 85% recovery rate, ensuring strong torque retention. No additional gasket sealants or silicone beads are needed, and re-torquing is not required. Proudly made in the USA.
