Description
This clutch cover gasket is constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. The aluminum core provides exceptional strength, preventing weeping and crawling, even in engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. The AFM material offers a high temperature resistance of over 250°F (121°C) and boasts an 85% recovery rate, ensuring consistent torque retention. Installation is simplified as no sealants are required. The AFM material's non-stick properties reduce service time by preventing adhesion to the engine case, eliminating the need for scraping during replacement.
