Cometic provides a range of gasket types to perfectly suit various applications, including their innovative Extreme Sealing Technology (EST) gaskets, which feature embossed steel covered with a proprietary rubber or solid copper. For robust support and sealing, Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) gaskets incorporate two outer Viton®-coated embossed spring steel layers with an inner steel core. The composite CFM material provides excellent heat tolerance and a long-lasting seal without delaminating, while Aluminum Foamette Material (AFM) gaskets, with their aluminum core and nitrile synthetic rubber coating, require no additional gasket sealer.
