Cycle Electric Stators – Engine Electrics

It has taken Cycle Electric years of constant upgrading to develop their line of stators. They start with a higher temperature insulation system capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 600°F (316°C) . Others fail at 425°F (218°C). This thinner insulation allows better heat transfer and better magnetic coupling. They then wind each stator using a precision needle winder. This improves consistency, heat transfer, and magnetic coupling. Better heat transfer means cooler operating temperatures. Better magnetic coupling yields improved output over the entire R.P.M. range. This reduces battery discharge at idle too. Cycle Electric also use top quality plug materials. When replacing a stator on Evolution and Shovelheads you should compare the plug type to see which system is currently being used. If in doubt replace the complete system as a set.
