Description
The Feuling Parts Race Series® Short-Travel Hydraulic Lifters feature a revolutionary design with 0.115" of total travel, significantly less than the 0.200" of travel found in full-travel lifters. This reduction in travel minimizes valve float and valve train harmonics, resulting in a quieter, more stable engine. The reduced oil volume required inside the lifter minimizes oil aeration, preventing pushrod seat drop and ensuring consistent performance, especially with high-lift camshafts. These lifters are compatible with Feuling® HP+® or Race Series® oil pumps, and are designed for high-performance applications. The steel body is machined to withstand high valve spring pressures and features a slow bleed-down rate. For optimal performance, Feuling® recommends the use of a high-volume oil pump.

Important to know
Feuling® recommends setting these short-travel lifters with 0.065" - 0.070" of pre-load. Feuling® recommends pumping up each lifter by hand prior to installation to remove all air. Feuling® recommends Race Series® lifters for engines running higher than 185 lb (84 kg) valve spring seat pressure.
