With Standard Duty springs. Offers 3-position compression (QS3 switch) and rebound damping (QSR switch). Comes with remote reservoirs which increase fluid capacity and improve cooling by mounting custom brackets above the saddlebags where they get better airflow. This mounting position gives easy access to the QS3 (Quick Switch compression) three-position adjuster on the remote reservoirs comfort, extra support and maximum support. On the bottom of the shock you'll find the QSR switch (Quick Switch Rebound), which also allows comfort, extra support and maximum support. - QSR 1 Soft rebound: for comfort on bumpy backroads - QSR 2 Medium rebound: For 'any road', a balance of control and comfort - QSR 3 Hard rebound: For a 'glued to the asphalt' feeling on smooth twisty roads - QS3 (compression damping) switch 3-position for 'comfort', 'extra support', 'maximum support - Linear spring rate - Adjustable preload with setting guide marks - Top mount eyelet - Bottom mount eyelet - 3.31" travel - 14.06" extended length - 10.75" compressed length - Gas-charged mono-tube with internal floating piston (IFP) - 1.5-inch diameter 6061-T6 aluminum type III hard-anodized body - Fully rebuildable and re-valvable - Advanced high-flow, deflective disc velocity-sensitive damping - 5/8-inch diameter, low friction, super-finished hard chrome shaft - Matte black spring and black anodized preload ring - Includes mounting hardware, 2 mounting brackets for 2014-up H-D Touring models, spring preload spanner wrench, instructions and user manual - Standard Duty spring rate, for loads most of the time up to 240lb (109kg). Note: Standard Duty or Heavy Duty springs? This has nothing to do with quality but everything with what weight the bike will carry. For a bike usually loaded below 240Lbs./109kg (rider + luggage) the standard springs are the best choice. When the bike is usually loaded over 240Lbs/109kg (like rider + passenger + luggage), the Heavy Duty springs are the better choice.
