The crankpins, made from hot-rolled ASTM 4115, are case hardened to 58-62Rc for increased wear resistance. The latest caged needle roller bearing designs ensure high rpm longevity, while the uniquely designed big end minimizes bearing race distortion through strategic side scalloping and vent slots. Small ends are double drilled to enhance lubrication and cooling to the wrist pin bearing. Shot-peened to eliminate surface stress risers and double honed for an ultra-round bearing surface, this connecting rod kit delivers unmatched reliability. Compatible with both Hot Rods and OE crankshafts, this kit is proudly made in the USA.
