Description
The Roadtec™ 01 rear tire features a revised land/sea ratio and a new tread design, significantly increasing wear resistance. This innovative design ensures consistent performance throughout the tire's life, allowing riders to fully enjoy its capabilities. The tire provides increased grip on wet roads, particularly on low-friction surfaces like city streets and worn tarmac, even in low temperatures, thanks to the radial positioning of the grooves. Metzeler has rebalanced the tire stiffness, enhancing rubber adherence to tarmac micro-asperities, which increases mechanical grip on lower friction surfaces. Compared to the Roadtec Z8 Interact, the Roadtec 01 offers up to 10% increased mileage, achieved through a larger and shorter footprint shape that also enhances motorcycle handling.
