S&S Cycle Forged Piston Kit - 3-1/2" Bore - 1340cc - +.010" - 106-5520

High 9:1 (53cc dome) compression ratio. Fits as a direct replacement for 1340 (80") Shovelhead models, 3-1/2" bore with stock 4-1/4" stroke. These S&S forged pistons come in an advanced alloy and skirt profiles, resulting in a quiet engine and long life, previously only achievable with cast pistons. This is an excellent choice to overhaul your stock 1340cc Shovel with a higher compression piston. Pistons include wrist pins, wrist pin clips and piston rings. Note: S&S piston fit recommendations: Close fit .0030" to .0035", loose fit .004" to .005". Note: In any and all applications the technician must be able to judge components for their suitability in combination with the other engine components, prior to installation. It is of importance that a knowledgeable mechanic will install & make adjustments as required. The rider must follow standard break-in and riding procedures for overhauled engines.
