Description
The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit delivers significant enhancements to your M8 engine's performance and reliability. The oil pump and cam plate are precision machined from billet aluminum, featuring removable passage plugs for easy servicing and independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest. Debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet on the cam chest side ensure clean oil flow to the pump. With a 44% flow increase on the supply side and a 58% increase on the scavenge side, your engine benefits from improved lubrication and cooling. The adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning while installed. The kit includes S&S Precision Tappets, hand-assembled to exacting tolerances, which minimize valve train noise and maintain low leak-down rates for superior high-RPM performance. Complementing the tappets are hard anodized black billet aluminum tappet cuffs that enhance stability, especially in high-lift and high-RPM conditions, and chrome Quikee pushrods with chrome tubes, ensuring durability and style.
