The S&S Cycle M8 Cam Chest Kit is a comprehensive upgrade designed to maximize the potential of your Harley-Davidson M8. This high-performance kit features a 475G gear drive cam, ensuring precise cam timing and eliminating the wear and potential failure points associated with stock chain tensioners. Each component, from the precision-machined billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate with their striking blue anodized finish, to the S&S Quickee Pushrods and premium tappets, is meticulously matched for superior quality, fit, and performance. The oil pump and cam plate are engineered with independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest, along with debris screens in both scavenge pickups, significantly increasing oil flow capacity on both feed and scavenge sides for optimal lubrication and engine protection. Billet aluminum tappet cuffs, hard-anodized black, offer superior strength over stock, preventing distortion and improving tappet stability in high-lift and high-RPM situations. An adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning while installed, and a magnet in the cam chest further aids in preventing debris from entering the oil pump. This kit is compatible with M8 models equipped with VVT and includes outer drive gears, providing a complete, Made in the USA solution for your Milwaukee-Eight cam upgrade.
