Description
The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit is engineered to provide superior oil circulation and valve train control for gear-driven Twin Cam engines. The oil pump and cam plate, precision machined from billet aluminum, feature independent scavenge sections for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest, ensuring efficient oil scavenging. Debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet on the cam chest side prevent contaminants from entering the oil pump, maintaining oil purity. Enjoy a 44% flow increase on the supply side and a 58% increase on the scavenge side, optimizing lubrication and reducing wear. The kit includes S&S Quikee pushrods and precision tappets, hand-assembled to exacting tolerances for minimal leak-down and fast pump-up, enhancing high-RPM performance. Billet aluminum tappet cuffs with a hard anodized black coating provide increased strength and stability, even in high-lift and high-RPM conditions.
