Description
The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit for Gear Drive M8 engines provides a comprehensive upgrade for your motorcycle's valvetrain and oiling system. The precision-machined billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate feature independent scavenge sections for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest, ensuring efficient oil removal. Debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet on the cam chest side prevent contaminants from entering the oil pump, maximizing its lifespan. With a 44% flow increase on the supply side and a 58% flow increase on the scavenge side, this kit significantly improves oil circulation. The adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning while installed in the engine.
This kit includes S&S Precision Tappets, hand-assembled to exacting tolerances, which minimize valvetrain noise and leak down rates, providing fast pump-up and high RPM performance. Billet aluminum tappet cuffs with a hard anodized black coating offer superior strength and stability compared to stock components.
